According to Gourmet magazine, the margarita is the most popular cocktail in the U.S.

And it is no wonder. This versatile beverage can be served straight up, on the rocks, or that frothy, frozen, slushy concoction that tastes especially delightful around 6 p.m. on a sunny Friday after a long week at work.

Who doesn’t need a stash of all-purpose greeting cards on hand? I whipped up a batch of these for my sister-in-law. (Hopefully, I’ll get these in the mail to her before she sees this post!)

There is something magical about sending an actual paper card through the mail. I certainly love being on the receiving end. Giving and receiving cards is one of life’s affordable luxuries — another lovely delight.
